Francisco Larin has been practicing insurance for 16 years. He got his start in auto and home insurance, thinking insurance would be a good job to support him going to school to get an engineering degree. However, Francisco found that he had a passion for insurance and left school to pursue it as his career. For years he worked with major insurance companies as well as independently owned agencies, gaining more experience and passion for the field. In 2021 Francisco decided to take the leap into commercial insurance.

 

He was enrolled in Liberty Mutual’s Pacesetter program which works closely with each producer and agency to develop the marketing, sales and underwriting expertise necessary to write quality business. He also worked with a fellow commercial producer with a background in law who helped him truly understand how to protect his clients through their insurance policies. After gaining valuable experience learning commercial insurance, in 2023 Francisco started up a commercial insurance department at an independently owned home and auto agency and grew that commercial book to $2 million in premium within a year. After gaining confidence and a solid client base, Francisco decided that he would finally chase his dream of owning his own insurance agency in 2026 and Larins Group was formed. Francisco’s clients tell him they love to work with him because he explains everything in detail and is honest about what coverage they really need to best protect their businesses.

 

When he is not eating, breathing, or sleeping insurance, Francisco is a devoted husband and dedicated father to his twin two-year-old daughters. His biggest motivation to start his own agency was to build a better future for his family and that drives him to be better and work harder every day. Francisco also nurtured a passion for insurance in his younger brother, Kevin Larin. Kevin supports Larins Group as the agency’s primary account manager. Kevin got his start in insurance in 2020. He worked with several agencies before his brother Francisco convinced him to come work with him and learn commercial account management..
